a) In-App Account Deletion: To delete your account directly through the Orderoo app, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Orderoo app on your device.
  2. Go to the "Profile" section.
  3. Click on "Account Settings."
  4. Select "Manage Account."
  5. Finally, choose the option to "Delete Account."

By following these steps, your account will be deleted from Orderoo, and your personal information will be removed from our system.

b) Email Request for Account and Data Deletion: You can also request account and data deletion by sending an email to help@orderoo.com.au. Please include your account details (e.g.,phone number or registered email) in the email to expedite the deletion process.

Note: Once the account is deleted, all your data will be permanently removed and cannot be recovered. If you have any concerns or questions about the account deletion process, feel free to contact our support team at help@orderoo.com.au. We are here to assist you throughout the process.

Our primary goal in collecting your information is to enhance your experience while using the Services. We use this information to closely monitor which features of the Services are used most, allow you to view your trip history, rate trips, and determine which features we need to focus on improving. This includes analyzing usage patterns and geographic locations to determine where we should offer or focus services, features, and/or resources.

Location data helps us improve our services, including pickups, navigation, and customer support. For users who have enabled location data collection, the app may also facilitate emergency data sharing with police, fire, and ambulance services for enhanced safety.

Furthermore, for users who have enabled location data collection, we may enable location sharing between riders and drivers to improve pickups, especially in crowded areas.

  1. Location Feature and Background Access

Our app uses real-time navigation to provide service to end-users, allowing pickups from their location to their destination location. To enable real-time updates for trips, background location access is required. This allows us to know the driver's real-time movement, benefiting both users and the company.

Additionally, the app monitors driver location, even when you are using a different app on your phone, such as during phone calls. This "Background" location usage is necessary to accurately measure the distance traveled during trips.

If you believe that any information we are holding about you is incorrect or incomplete, please write to or email us as soon as possible at the sales email address. We will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.
